Spinach Curry / கீரை
Keerai/Spinach curry is a healthy side to enjoy with rice for lunch!
Spinach Curry/Keerai
Ingredients
- 1 bunch Spinach (கீரை)
- ½ Medium Sized Onion (வெங்காயம்)
- 1 Garlic Cloves (பூண்டு)
- 1 Green Chili Pepper (மிளகாய்) Remove seeds to reduce spice
- ¼ cup Water (தண்ணீர்)
- 1 tsp Coconut Milk (தேங்காய்ப்பால்)
- ¼ tsp Salt (உப்பு)
- Lemon Juice (எலுமிச்சை சாறு)
Instructions
- Cut the spinach.
- Dice the onions, green chili pepper, and garlic cloves.
- Put the spinach, onions, green chili pepper, garlic cloves, and salt in a pot.
- Add water to the pot and cook.
- After about 10 minutes, add coconut milk and let cook for about a minute.
- Take the pot off the stove. Squeeze some lemon juice and mix directly before serving.
