A quick breakfast with a balanced mix of nuts and multigrain! This only requires 4 ingredients and it takes less than 10 minutes.

When I visited Sri Lanka last, my aunt made this for me for breakfast. I enjoyed it so much, I took a picture to remind myself to learn how to make it. Once I came back home and settled in, I saw the picture and asked her how to make it. I assumed there were specific grains that made it taste the way it did. I then learned that she used a grain mix and how simple this recipe is. You can definitely make it from scratch, but the grain mix is an easy way to make a quick meal. All the ingredients can be adjusted as needed for what works best for you. Adjust the sugar to your level of desired sweetness!

Nuts & Grain Bites

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Nut & Grain Mix (கடலை வகைகளும் தானியங்களும் கொண்ட மா)
  • 2 cups Grated Coconut (தேங்காய்ப்பூ)
  • cup Sugar (சீனி)
  • ¼ cup Water (தண்ணீர்)

Instructions
 

  • Add the grain mix, coconut, and sugar to a bowl and mix well.
  • Add water and mix well. Create round balls from the lightly wet mixture.
  • Enjoy!
